I just brought the SP5000 size 235/35/17 for my 528i and they are supreme! Quiet, Quiet, Quiet! Nice grip and 10 time better than my original Continental Sport Contri tires.
: I've got the SP5000's in 205/65/15's and love em' to death. Here in Denver, we've had some snows that don't seem to stop them. I got the z-rated ones and have had them for about 800mi. Get these tires.

: : : These seem to be a very good all-around tire at a great price. I have them in 225/55/16 on my 530iT, and I love them. They're comfortable and quiet. They have good grip in dry and wet, and they have a very good treadlife rating for a Z-rated tire.
: : : Check the archives for other folks impressions of these tires.

: : : : I need to get a new set of tires for my 93 525i. I've searched around and talked to a few salesmen and mechanics and I have gotten different answers from different ones. What do you guys have out there and what do you recommnd. I'm currently running the standard 205/65/15. Any recomendations would be greatly appreciated.
: : I've got Pirelli p6000 sport veloce 225/60 15 and they're great tires, but they're nearing the end of their tread life. I've been shopping too, and the sport 5000s are looking real good. I'm curious if any of you are running them in the 60 series, which has a diff tread pattern than the 55 and lower series.
