: Hi,I ahd a set of brakes installed in September. They have about 6-7k on them and they squeal like crazy. Any way now to stop the squealing or am I doomed until I change them again? Thanks

Get Gunk brand brake anti-squeal and then apply it liberally on the back of the pads. When I first did my brakes, I used it and I had not a single squeal for months. I need to reapply though because its starting to squeal again, just a little. The Gunk stuff really works good in my experience. If you want to know how to remove the pads, I have a how to on my website and it's really easy. Good luck.
