: When the bushing and or thrust arms are re-installed they should only be torqued when the car is at ride height with the weight of the car on the tires. I am not sure what happens if torqued while on a lift with weight off car. Check with the shop that did it. Also check the tie rod ends and the lower control arm.
By the way were both upper control arm ball joints in good order? Do you have directional tires that may have been installed "wrong direction"
Like the other posts suggested, it is very important for the car to be properly balanced and alligned. These areas are money is no object as the e34 seems to be very particular about it's allignment, wheel/tire balance, and suspension.
Also check engine mounts, flex disk drive shaft and ujoints
I just replaced my thrust arms complete from Bavarian as my ball joints were "floppy"
