1-800-269-8972. They sell rebuilt cluster boards. Still $$$ but not as much as new. The problem you could encounter with a used board is that it could have the capacitor or cold solder joint problem, and it just hasn't occurred yet. So, it could be a ticking time bomb. If you find a rebuilt used one then you're all set. But you need to ask if it has been rebuilt.
You could try Programa (1-800-668-8843) to see if thy can rebuild your board, $$. But, still cheaper than a new one.
The reason you have to note the year of the car, it because in the instrument clusters built after Feb. 1989 had the odometer coding plug (stores odometer reading) integrated into the cluster. If you change clusters, you have to swap the coding plug or accept the one that comes with the used cluster, ie. you get whatever miles were on the cluster and not your original miles.
