The only thing that I can think of would be to try the NASSIO (National Association Of Impala SS Owners) board. After all, the SS is a souped-up Caprice. Someone there should be able to point your friend in the right direction.

He is looking for a left headlight assembly, and the Opel dealer quoted him 800DM, which is about $400. He is interested in maybe something used or does Chevy charge $400 for this part in the states? Maybe someone knows a good parts website for GM???
