Steve,
I usually put the front wheels at the rear, and the rears up front cyclically, to get an even wear. Once I dismounted the tires to put the right side ones on the left without changing the direction of rotation, on a car that had a lot of negative camber. On my everyday car, I do the front to rear change in fall and spring, when I put the winter tires/summer tires.
I NEVER would change a wheel so that the direction of rotation changes.
My two cents' worth.

: 2. Any info on using the Hunter GSP 9700 to balance your tires?... I'd heard it was THE WAY... then when I paid big bucks to use one, it seemed like every other balancer out there.
