My 94 530it shifts great. There is one problem. At about 40 to 45 mph at part throttle, under load (ie: going uphill) the trans feels as though it wants to shift. It sort of disengages and catches with a slight jerk. It remains in the same gear. If you let up on the throttle it stops exhibiting the problem. If you give it some gas it upshifts. Is there a diagnostic tool the dealer may have to check the trans or are most dealers "parts replacers"?
