Hello Jason,

Sounds like your speed sensor in the differential may be going bad. These things seems to fail around the 8-10 year mark. The sensor costs about $35 at the dealer and is held in place with two small screws. Good Luck.

: Twice recently i have noticed the speedometer spike up to around 30 mph while i was rolling up at a stop light. I didn't notice anything else happening on the dash, but I only caught the spike out of the corner of my eye. Any insight would be appreciated.
