I installed the Stellar system in my 92 5er. It took about a half-hour. The unit double locks the doors, and closes the windows and sunroof via the remotes, just like the key. I'm not sure if these features are available for your model year however. I purchased my system from Bav Auto for $95.00, quoting the BMP price.

Michael, i ordered the stellar unit also, but haven't had a chance to install yet. Did you mount it in the front kick panel, or in the trunk? If the trunk, what were the wire colors used? Thanks!
