I have heard many of you discuss problems with the thrust arm bushings. My '90 535i has a slight clunk when I go over speed bumps or potholes. Sound diminishes with speed. Also, recently there seems to have been a rash of overheating. I am a new BMW owner and would like to know exactly how high the needle should go in traffic. I get to just below the three-quarters mark. Thanks for all your help, you have provided me with new weheel roundels, methods for fixing my rear window moulding, etc. Also, drivers door lock does not operate with key. Motor is working but the connector rod seems to be disconnected (looked in access hole) any suggestions?
