Retro fit OBC (archive)

Does anbody know if it is possible to retro fit any or all aspects of the on board computer. At present my 525i Auto has only the Check Control Module, with an analoge clock where the OBC module goes. I'm really mainly after the outside temperature function, so if anbody knows of an easy way of installing that I'd be glad to hear.
