I am the 3rd owner of the car. I enjoy it immensely, but you should be aware that the M30 engine is susceptible to excessive cam & valvetrain wear due to potential oiling problems. I had a new camshaft & rockers installed at 140 000km, big buck job. Have the car inspected by a BMW mechanic, and I would suggest having them remove the valve cover to visually inspect the cam.

Otherwise, and terrific car.

Good Luck
