You are correct. The drain and fill plugs are both on the bottom of the transmission pan. This is probably a job best left to the dealer, unless you have your own lift rack or pit to work under the car. I would take my own fluid (Mobil 1 synthetic ATF - about 4 quarts should be plenty) and let them do the actual replacing.
