I had the same problem.Coolant leaking from the same spot. I went to my dealer and discussed the problem with one of the machanics. He informed me that they (BMW) had been having problems with the radiator and to talk to the service manager to see if they would warranty it. I had 65K on the car. It took a while and several phone calls to the owner of the dealership, but I got my new radiator. Hang in there and be a pest!
: I recently noticed a shot under my car and a low coolant message. Upon closer inspection it seems that the radiator is leaking. The fluid is coming from the side where the upper hose is connected. The coolant appears to be leaking out where the plastic and aluminum meet along the edge (engine side)of the radiator. The leak is up high so the coolant level stays at least ½ full. The coolant does not seem to be coming from the hose connection. Any ides as to how I might fix the leak short of replacing the radiator.:
