I just bought a '94 530iT. I paid $16,000. I found other 530iT's that were in the same price range as the the 525iT your looking at. I don't know if your willing to travel to get one, I went to Louisiana (from Ft. Lauderdale, but they are out there. I only searched on the net. Check the following sites. You may have some luck.

'94 530iT
'99 R1200C
: Looking at a very clean 535iT w/ 84,000 miles. Puget Sound area, car originally from NJ. Dealer is asking $18,900 will sell for maybe $17,800. Records only from last 2 1/2 years,(well-maintained) serviced by current dealer. Whaddya think? Seems pricey to me. Car comes with one month or 1000 mi. limited warranty. Thanks for your input.
