They aren't as good as the original but are better than doing nothing and letting the tie rod get dirt in it and having to replace it. At best this is a band-aid. As long as you have to pop the tie rod, I would go ahead and replace them if they have a few miles on them. If you do replace them, put some antisieze on the adjustment threads, the alignment guys will thank you for it. : Has anybody replaced just the tie rod dust boots. I notice BMP is now selling them and mine are tore but the joint is still good. Just wondering,
