Hey Rod,
Past posts were saying that the oil in the plug well is due to a leaky valve cover gasket.Bad gaskets allow the engine oil to flow down onto the plug wells and flood the place.Check your gaskets.

: Hello,

: We were running late for a golf game and my buddy asked to use my 91' 525i. It took me 25 mins on a 45 mile drive. Yes, I hit 100+ mph a number of times. Anyway, I lost a whole bar on the service indicator which used to be 4 green bars. Oil level was at minimum and accidentaly made about 1/8" excess off the maximum line.
:
: I replaced my spark plugs today, +4 platinums p/n 4417, and found some oil in the chamber (exterior). The most that I took out was about a tablespoon full on cylinder 2 and found some oil on the ignition coil contacts. Only one chamber/spark plug did not have an oil leak. Is this a big concern or pretty much normal. Please advice. Thanx.
