I just purchased a '94 530i w/5 speed and only 50K miles from a really great couple in Manhattan for $18,500. I had been looking for the wagon, but found it difficult to find one w/manual transmission (I don't think available on 530iT. Also considered from a dealer here in Arlington, VA a '95 525 w/42K miles for 21K, he was asking 24K. Impeccable shape, but too much $$$$. I think mileage has a great deal to do w/price. If its clean, without dings, steering feels tight and no rattles.. go for it. You will love it!!!!


: Looking at a very clean 535iT w/ 84,000 miles. Puget Sound area, car originally from NJ. Dealer is asking $18,900 will sell for maybe $17,800. Records only from last 2 1/2 years,(well-maintained) serviced by current dealer. Whaddya think? Seems pricey to me. Car comes with one month or 1000 mi. limited warranty. Thanks for your input.
