Maybe this is a stupid idea but would it be possible to suck the gallon of coolant out using a shop vac?

: I need some help regarding the block drain on my M50. I think I have the correct spot ( 13mm bolt below #6 exhaust manifold), but I can't seem to get a wrench into the area to remove it due to the limited clearance around the manifold. Is there any special trick, or am I in the wrong place?

: Also, I found a neat trick to help drain the radiator: 1Take a length of plastic tubing around 6" long and slip it over the radiator drain spout. Run other end into a suitable container. Also stick a rag under the valve to catch the leak around the valve.

: Thanks.
