Here's what it should mean.

Service Bulletin: BMW has seen this problem and here is how to fix it. Only applies if the car has this problem. Repair covered during warranty period only.

Campaign: Voluntary update for all the particular cars and requires a fix of a particular problem. Car does not have to have the problem. Repair cover under factory warranty.

Recall: BMW must make a fix. Covered on particular car either in or out of warranty.
