Recharge the Battery with wrong Polarity (archive)

I've make mistake that recharge my VARTA battery
by the wrong polarity (plus & minus I plugged wrong).
It's done chraged 10 hours and very hot condition.
So I unplugged the cables and I stop it.

Can anyone advise that the battery still can be use.
