basically a euro delivery car is just that--a car that was delivered to a purchaser
in europe...as for the medicine kit--that is just about the fastest way to determine
whether a car is euro delivery...
my car was purchased through a dealer in Kaiserslautern, Germany by an Air Force
pilot...he bought it at a discount through a Canadian Armed Forces program...even though
he had the car in Germany for about a year, it shipped from the factory as a US spec car...
sticker price on 1990 535's in the states were about $44,000 plus tax, title, etc...he paid
$32,150 tax free...pretty good deal, huh?
carfax questioning the fact that the car is spec'd out to US standards
leads me to believe that you have more than likely not acquired a euro delivery,
but a "grey-market" car...these vehicles end up in the US through a variety of
sources--quite a few of them illegally...
about 10 years ago i had a girlfriend whose father had two grey market
cars...an '84 mercedes 300sd and an '87 M6...peculiar thing about the cars were
that all the gauges and controls were in German...
that's about all i know...out of curiosity...are your gauges in English or German?
Drew has one of these also--in fact our cars are almost identical...maybe he can
shed some more light?
