Just returned from a fishing trip. 177 miles 6.77 galon. I observed the following: cruising at 45 mph, it gives 26mpg; at 60mph 25 mpg and 75mph 24 mpg (all at 5th gear). It seems that areodynamic has an important factor. Also, the car told me 23.8 mpg for the trip, but based on my calculation it was 177/6.77=26.14mpg.
