: : Need recommendations for independent service in san diego area. have spent my last (of many) dollar at dealers. Thanks!

: Check out this section of Car Talk's web site:
: This web site helps you find a good independent mechanic in your neighborhood, and even allows you to add a mechanic to their database if you wish.

: For people unfamiliar with Car Talk, it is a one hour show on National Public Radio by the famous Magliozzi brothers (Tom and Ray - aka "Click and Clack The Tappet Brothers"). The shows airs on Saturday at 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM, and is repeated on Sunday at 4:00 Pm to 5:00 PM. Your local public radio timings may vary.

: The show is really funny, where the brothers dispense advice like nobody else, be it on cars, car repsirs, or even personal issues.

Try BMW Service Specialist! Two San Diego Locations. They've pampered our 325is for 6 years, and we'll trust them to take good care of our newly-acquired 530i. Ask for Gary Dodd. 858-452-7711 (Miramar/UTC/La Jolla) or 619-234-7710 (Downtown)
