Wow,now this is the first that I have heard of our car's a/c light changing color!My Dad's previous '84 732i had the green colored a/c button.My previous e28 '84 520i had blue colored a/c button.And our e34 have two buttons that engages the a/c compressor ie. the yellow colored recirc button(circle of arrows) and the blue colored a/c button(snowflake button).
I have never seen the change in color on my car.Anybody care to enlighten us?

: I run a 92 525iT with air con, noticed today when the aircon was running, the button light changed from yellow to green, any reason for this. Many thanks for you help
