Radiator leaks (archive)

I have just purchased a beautiful 94-525i, it has only two problems that I could use some advise on.
It appears that the header tank on my radiator is weeping cooling water. can this be repaired or will the radiator have to be replaced?
The "brake light circuit" alarm keep iluminating on the dash display, could this be the stop light switch as I have read in the forum.
