My '94 530i was manufactured in 11/93 so that may be the difference. Are you driving a 530 or a 525. I recall the 525's having the W/E modes.

: Where is this switch? My car has a Economy (normal) and Winter (snowflake) mode toggle switch, but no other. My date of production was 5/93, so it was one of the earlier production models.
