Mike, I work at an auto parts store here in the DC area for a second job. Most of the parts prices look a little high, but not by much. The O2 sensors usually sell for around 65 for domestic cars, and the shocks are in the right ballpark. As the other guy mentioned, check out the mechanic thouroughly - some of these guys are HUGE rip off artists, but for what it is worth, if he did pad the prices it wasn't a by a whole bunch. As far as the labor goes, that all depends on the amount/type of work and the particular shop.
