response is different left to right - shocks? (archive)

I know I need new front shocks (bilstien sports to be installed within 2 weeks - anyone know where to get them cheap in the Toronto area?). I have noticed that recently, the response when turning left is not as good as turning right - neither are as good as they used to be. Could this be because one shock is more worn than the other? Or could it be something else? Tire pressure is o.k. and all 4 tires are new (3K on new Michelin XGT-H4, any experience with these tires?)
