Now this is getting very strange. I presume you have an M50 engine with its hydraulic lifters and timing chain, a rather different beast from the M20 in Archer's 525.

The injectors are probably different too but I don't know for sure.

May be worth a look at Alldata's site for any TSBs on the subject.
