Canadian cars and us cars have the same emissions standards, but maybe not California standards. You would have to get the spedo changed from KM/H to MPH and that can be done by BMW with a letter stating the KM's driven. Canadian cars have daytime running lights, but not that hard to do. I live in vancouver and it is true, Canadian cars are cheaper. I would only buy one from the west coast, because of salt on winter roads, and Vancouver cars have LOW KM on the clock.
