Thank you for responding to a post so far down the list!

The car has lowering springs (previous owner) but he had left the original shocks which obviously have worn out since. This time I will get the proper springs and I do my very best to avoid those 2" potholes - Toronto's roads are fairly good though ... repairs are done to the roads after the winter fairly quickly.
