i have a 1990 530 (UK), my problem is that the harness that holds the four plugs inside the drivers door came loose and the elec window has snapped a live wire off of the black plug.
Questions :-
1. the live seems to go to the door lock, do i need to replace the whole lock or is it in parts.
2. i have an alarm with remote locking that is not connected, if i can find the trigger wires i can connect the alarm as a temporary solution, any ideas of the lock and unlock wire and if it need positice or negative feed to trigger.
