Explored the car INTERIOR for the condensor?The condensor sits in front of the car radiator.You must mean evaporator,which is under the dashboard.Removal is from the front pax side.The evaporator must come out first before you can get access to the expansion valve.This also requires depressurising of the a/c system.R U sure you want to do this?

: I have explored the interior of my 1990 535i this weekend and never located the expansion valve or the condensor for the A/C system. Can someone provide my with some specifics of how to approac the removal and replacement of the expansion valve? Should I remove the passenger side compartment or drivers side? Does the entire center console have to come out? Many thanks!
