I have a 92 525i 5 speed and love it. When I traded in my Corrado I was looking for an E30 M3. One was sold on the lot, so I looked at the 525. I really was not interested in a sedan but saw that it was a stick. After shifting just a handful of gears I was completely sold. While I've never driven an auto 525, I was really really surprised with the oomph that you can get above 3.5/4k RPM in the car. It was so smooth and classically BMW that it has served as a fantastic replacement to my racey romps in the old Corrado.

Of course when you go into Luxo-cruiser mode it's just the best.

*I think the 17" FVH 5 point rims and suspension work also make the ride a little more exhilarating than the stock E34...but no doubt a great car all around!!!
