I almost bought a lexus sc300, drove it, had funny feel about it. Was in MB 550SEC I hated. Also had 635CSi, loved it, the Lexus was on the lot with the '93 525iT I now have. Both were "93 both had 12K+ a little, touring was $2K less. Felt like a car should, but a little under powered, but then I still had the 6er for fun.
I think it matters more what appeals. You have 5er don't you.
