what happens, not cold, blower doesn't blow, did it just quit or die off gradually.

The air conditioner had a little rattle when the car was idleing. But it just quit. No warning-nothing.


Try servicing per Greg G post, very good directions. Could be the noise was cutting in and out because of low freon. If that doesn't work may be compressor clutch is bad.
