Same problem with my car. I think it is because of the heat.
I' sure that if you don't fix it now the whole headliner will come down as in my car.

Now I have to replace the whole liner with a brand new one. In my country(Mauritius) the temperature are sometimes low and high and I think that is what caused th problem.
