I tried that, we did move from Calif. to the country in another state.(no horse, tho')After 4.5 wet,dark,and cold years, I'm goin' back to Sunny So Cal, and where surely there are atleast two or three civil people still left!

Hi Paul!Are you ready...the real estate is sky rocketing every week.You are looking at $135 to $600 per sq/ft.The house I just bought is going up about $700 a week....I haven't move in yet.Too bad our Bimmer don't go up.South Cal?? You must be a rich guy.....hehehe.Do you know how many dotcom people are moving to the central vally?They are making over$150k a year,and they said they cannot afford a home!Timothy.

I've spent a lot of time in So Cal. Lived there for many years. Real estate has always been crazy. No,I'm hardly rich (except in Spirit :-))
I'll figure it out, one way or another.Silicone Valley is a whole other story, as is San Francisco Bay area. So Cal still has pockets of real estate sanity, and besides, I can make more money there than where I'm at now. Better weather increases driving pleasure with my 525iT. Dreaming of a silver 540iT next! Might evcn be more Bimmers in Calif. than in Germany, or at least it's close.
