smog test is every two years. i would get the jc chip instead of the dinan. my friend said it's a easy switch from the jim c chip to stock and vice versa. that's my $0.02.

Thanks for your input, Robert. Since I keep hearing how good Jim's chip is, I may decide it's worth the minor hassle of swapping every two years.
