Today I got up at 6 a.m. and washed my 1984 E30... by 8 a.m it had two coats of wax. Armourall'd every item made of black vinyl/plastic. Removed the front seats and shampooed the carpets, leather treated the interior. I had my favourite music playing on the Blaupunk stereo. People walking by commented on the great shape of a great looking car. Took the spare wheel out and fine steel wooled it and gave it a coat of "Sterling Silver M/BMW 244/ICI Base", this completing all five wheels. Finished with a coat of "clear coat". Treated all the hoses and plastic under the hood and polished exposed plastic.
At noon I sat on the porch and looked at the lines of that fabulous little car... while sipping a coffee... dog curled up beside me. At 1:00 I started it up and pulled out onto the "Niagara Parkway", the most beautiful little road in Ontario, and drove for an hour... nothing could have been more perfect...

don't give up... and hang in there....
