What year and model is your car?? What mileage does the car have, and where do you live?? What went into repairs, and what were the major problems which made you pay $2k in the last 2-months?? It's really tough to make a useful suggestion with this info incomplete..

Your car may be an endless money, or the $2K you just shelled out may hold the car up well for quite some time with routine maintenance..



I'm getting to my breaking point on my bimmer love affair. I can only do minor work on the cars myself and after spending $8k in 3 years on my e28, I've already spent $2k on my e34 in 2 months.

I'm considering buying new (nissan,honda or whatever) With a new baby, having a car under warranty is starting to make a lot of sense.

Someone talk to me!!
