I'd get a Honda as a first car (Accord). Great car to learn on, very reliable and easy to maintain, safe and cheap to operate.

Then get a Bimmer!

funny you should say honda accord, lol, i am learning in my bro's car a 1990 honda accord. i have a permit, which means someone over 21 has to sit next to me at all times, thus i dont really DRIVE the car. :-) n e way thnx for the info i will keep all of you posted, and as for a volvo, i dont think so, i heard its a liberal's car!!!
