Find a good mechanic. Stick with him. Get his advice before you buy another bimmer. I've been driving bmws since 1976. I just bought my fourth one. No cars like them. You just need to do your homework first re the model and year and then have it gone over with a fine tooth comb before buying it. Those other cars you are considering are nothing more than dixie cups on wheels. What exactly was your e28 and the e34? Mileage? Year? etc.
