Maybe the rubber tube has hardened over the years and not making a good seal however tight you fit the clip.Renew the tube and try again.Attempt the cheap fixes first.

The small rubber pipe was leaking at the jubilee clip , I tried to tighten it but the thread had gone.
So I changed the clip and it still is leaking petrol it seems worse when the car has not been driven for a long time the pipe seems OK and the clip is very tight what else is causing this area to leak is it a blocked injector causing it to leak petrol at the weekest point IE the rubber pipes connection?
Please help!!
