I had a fog light assembly that came off my car while driving (the plastic clip broke and the whole thing came loose). I have purchased a new assembly from the dealer but everytime I plug in the cables (yellow and brown) and turn on the power, the fuse blows. I looked for any cuts in the cables but none are visible (I searched about 8" up the cables to where they they meet the rest of the bundle of cables for the turn signals etc..). Is there anything else that could cause this? Maybe a relay? The other fog light works fine (until I plug in the new one and the fuse goes). Thanks!
Check that the brown wire is on the ground side of bulb. THe side that is outer case is gnd.
