just bought a '91 German spec'd 525 here in Wiesbaden...runs like a monster and has been impeccably maintained by one German owner at a German BMW dealership...only performance item is that in low gears, at low rpm's, the engine hesitates occasionally (one or two "hiccups") as I move from 2nd to 3rd while stepping on the gas moderately...it then accelerates perfectly beyond that point as the rpm's increase...no problems at autobahn speeds & gas mileage is 23 mpg while cruising at 120 mph all day...I'm using super unleaded fuel...any ideas?...my thought was a clogged injector, the on board computer, a slipping clutch, old plugs?...help!!...
