I replaced my shocks and springs on my 535i with BS sports and RD springs. I had ordered the Bav auto springs because i wanted to keep the ride comfortable, but Bav was out of stock. They convinced me to go with the Rds since they said it was a better spring and there isnt much difference between the two. Well, when I first drove the car it was great. No bouncing, less lean, better handling, more solid, no harshness. Then after a few weeks bang! Its ruff now. It slams on pot holes so much that I have to check the hood because I could swear the shocks are going to come up and trough the hood. Is it normal for this set up to become stiffer after a while. Im considering ordering the Bav springs and taking the Rds out. I going to call BAv tommorrow and see what they say. Any body have this set up or the BAv spring with BS sports? Please give some help. The car looks great now and handles better but I scared to drive it because I have that terrible fear of slamming into another pot hole. (I live in NY)What should I do? I spent months on research before buying just so this wouldnt happen and now look! I should have waited a month for the BAV springs to come in.
