Looking to buy a used mid-90s BMW sport wagon. Though the 3.0-liter V-8 sounds sexy, I hear the 2.5 inline-6 is the reliable workhorse. But I still like the 5-speed automatic that came with the V-8s. IS THIS SAME TRANSMISSION AVAILABLE WITH THE INLINE 6 CYLINDER AND, IF SO, WHICH YEARS DID IT COME IN?

Thanx,

G

Just a little joke.

The 5 speed automatic only came on the V8's. The 525iT only came with 4 speed autos.
