I think cutting the springs, particularly on such a well-engineered and tuned suspension system as your 535, is a REALLY bad idea. You will be changing the spring rates to something other than what they originally were designed to be. And consequently the rest of your suspension will suffer. There are a number of excellently engineered lowering springs on the market that will work much better. The cost of these is quite moderate. Check the archives, there's a ton of info there on springs and suspension mods.
